Hi there, this may sound strange but I dont know, I get nervous if I spar in the ring, when I spar outside the ring on the platform where the bags are, I am fine. I also don`t know why, I begin to arm throw, when I shadow box, I punch from the hips the correct way, I start arm throwing in the ring. I was sparring today, I forget to breathe, I dont know how to breathe with a mouth guard on, Im not used to the mouth-guard. I was very angry at my performance.

Breathing is actually an involuntary bodily action.
You don't forget to breathe, you are allowing your nerves to shut down other parts of your body. It's all in the mind my man, take control of it.....

Do your skipping in the ring, shadow box in there and learn to love it and own that bloody space.
Learn to switch on when you climb through them ropes, leave all the other crap in your life on the outside.
This sound corny but you should be a peace with mind and body when sparring. This comes with experence but you should be relaxed, not jumpy or stressed everytime your opponent is on the offensive.

Sparring properly however, requires you to control yourself a bit and focus on skills that need more practice....

the mind is a VERY tricky thing to control, but the body and breathing is easy to control so they are always there to help take the edge off the discomfort, breath DEEP into the belly, big deep down breathes, and relax the tension in your arms body etc
this should influence your emotions and take the edge off a bit, just remember to keep it up,
...until u fight, then just relax the body n breathe natural
