    8 weeks from my white collar

    Hia just after Abit of advice is 8 weeks enuff training for a fight 2 hours of boxing training 5 days a week 2 hours of strenth and conditioning 3 times a week and heavy power lifting 1hour 3 times a week wana be the best I can ??

      Hia bud yea boxed from 12 to 20 but then jacked it in to follow strong man now been doing it again for 6 months ime now 26 but with doing strong man comps I am large 19 stone 8 pounds but pritty fit with it so ime told

        If you boxed from age 12 till 20 then you should know how to train and get into shape, Id the white collar fight is 3 x 3, I would suggest this training regime.

        Do this training regime three timers per week, its quite intense, but train hard and fight easy.

        10 Minutes jumping rope
        6 x 3 Shadow Boxing
        6 x 3 Sparring
        6 x 3 Heavy Bag
        6 x 3 Focus Mitts
        10 minute jumping rope.

        On the days you are not doing the above training regime, go on a 3-5 mile run, try and sprint up a few hills.

        If you follow this training regime for 7 weeks, then in then 5 days before the fight, cut the sparring right how and just do bag work and mitts you should be in tip-top shape for the fight, some people might say this is to much for a white colour match, but remember train hard, fight easy.

          Thanks I apreceate ur help and will stick to this like glue do u think I should continue to lift 3 times a week or will this slow me down thanks again

            If you're older, I recommend getting a strong massage once a week, especially if you'll be lifting, to prevent tightness and injury. Thai massage is good.

              I personally do not lift any weight in my boxing training, just life once per week.

              Having great Cardio and technique is much more important.
