i dont know if anyone remembers but i posted a while back about my abs...i have a strong core and overall good muscle mass and low body fat and am in pretty good shape.....i was thinking recently and i discovered why my 6-pack doesnt show... See, i used to be very overweight....i was a fat a**! then i lost all my weight, and started boxing, running, and lifting...every other part of my body shows the muscle except the lower portion of my stomach and i think its because once i lost all the weight...the skin stayed stretched and at closer look....found that to be the case...does anyone know what i can do to deal with this problem besides continuing my workouts? thanks!

it takes awhile for that loose skin to tighten back up.. plus you need to lose some BF..I would say you need to be around 11-12 to see your abs when you flex and below 10% to have your abs show all the time

you can also concentrate on posture which makes a diffrence and keeping your abs flat and tight when your doing situps this works the inside abs? umm transverse abdominals. the transverse abs build a stronger frame for your 6 pack and strengthens your back. stomach vaccumes are also good for the tranv abs
if you add on a few weighted situps into your program like 20 might help 3 times a week or like full situps slowly diffrent placement of your hands to make it more difficult should help the muscle pop out more. At 15% bf you should be able to see a 6 pack if it pops out enough though if you want it defined you will need to drop down to like 8 - 12%.

it really all depends on genetics once you start getting close to 10%. there as some guys that are even 15% and they have massive abs and that is either due to genetics or their diet and lifting has caused the abdominals to grow that much. seeing as how yours still hasnt shown up at 15% then you need to drop into the single digit realm which is extremely difficult if you arent doing high cardio and or lifting weights along with a strict diet. once you get your body fat % lower then 10/9 im sure your abs will start to show. it takes time and hard work. no shortcuts.
