    Might start sparring soon...running?

    The head guy at my gym says he's gonna let me spar soon. Other fighters at my gym said I need to begin running. I only run a mile here and there.

    How much do you guys think I need to run just starting out sparring?

    At the gym I do 4 3 min rounds of heavybag, speedbag, and jumprope. And 2 rounds of the double end bag.

    What u guys think? If u have any sparring tips, let me kno...

    even with all that your gonna gas out especially starting out. you should be running atleast 3-5+ miles 3-6 times a week and in my opinion some other form of HiiT or Hypoxia conditioning.

      If you want to get better your going to have to do alot of running.

      at this point in time i wouldnt even look in to hypoxia conditioning. though hiit is very good .

      as far as starting to spar i would reccomend that you can jog atleast 3 miles with out stopping to rest or walk.

        sparr at dusk, run at dawn, fap at midnight.

          start running more. Base your running on time not miles. Gradually increase.

          Dont do any hypoxia training. Gotcha does not know what he is talking about.
