Well first, I know its hard but.... stop talking ****. Also, No, shadow boxing does nothing to improve power.
If your Pavlik size maybe your problem is that your weight drained. When you decrease your weight you lose attributes because your body is strained. Since you say you cant/dont want to increase weight. Which I think is more beneficial for you because you are 6'1". You can hit the heavy bag.
When you hit the heavy bag for whatever amount of time/rounds you do it. Hit it as hard as you can. Regardless of conserving energy. The goal isn't stamina managing, the goal is to punch the **** out of the heavy bag so you can hit harder. Rocky Marciano only hit the heavy bag as hard as he could, even when he was tired. Thus his power increased and stayed steady even in the later rounds. He is where I actually got the training method from.
Something out of the norm you can do is shot putting. Get a shot put or a really big rock. Put it in your hand and take your stance. Then shot put the rock or shot put-ball. (not throwing it upward, push it forward like a punch) Doing this multiple times. 8-12 reps, 4 sets. Your power will increase because your fast twitch muscles are working harder.
If you still dont see power gains. Move up in weight, you will definately see power gains. If that is still not an option/ doesn't work. Then you just werent meant to knock people out.

He started taking protein shakes and training religiously, he's about 155-160 right now. He gained some muscle, not much fat and he's pretty happy about it.
If you want to put some weight on it should be muscle, not fat. You will need to lift some weights, eating a lot of proteins would be good too, perhaps even some protein shakes.
Weights can be expensive if you are looking to buy a whole set, so you could go to a gym. Push ups/sit ups and pull ups are good but you won't gain much muscle from them.

gaining weight is easy as long as you eat the right kinds of foods. balance meals that are high carb/protein and well rounded in good fats and nutrients and such can easily get you the weight you need. if all your doing is 3 miles a day 5 days a week + 2 more miles of just walking around campus, thats nothing compared to the kind of workouts top tier caliber fighters do in 1 day. i think if you look at your diet and research what goes into your meals and how many kcals you should be eatin a day then you'll get to where you want to be at. as far as punching power you can only improve so much. cus d'amato (Mike Tyson's Trainer) said that punching power is a god given(or whatever higher being you believe in) talent and cant really be taught/learned. based on that, i think you can only improve so much but tyson like power is a gift. and correction, shadow boxing will improve your power because when you shadow box you should be looking at yourself in the mirror perfecting your form. you can have amazing brute strength but can't utilize it because of your punching form. shadow box to perfect your form, do isolation workouts to put good use to those extra kcals you'll be eatin so you can gain lean muscle weight/strenght, hit the bag to find your perfect distance to unleash that power and youll be good.

I come from a thin family with great metabolic rates and fitness and when I was in highschool and even into my apprenticeship the heaviest I could possibly get was 75kg (165) at 6'2". I tried plenty of weights and was fit as hell. I tried protein powders etc etc. Well I don't know what the inspiration was, but when my girlfriend at the time (now wife) moved in I hit raw eggs hard. Like I had an egg carton wall from the massive attack on raw eggs. I would mix about 5-6 eggs into a chocolate and milk drink and blend twice a day (it was ****ing gross). I was hitting the gym 5 - 6 times a week and my weight hit 98kg(215) at the peak. I think I actually killed my formerly great metabolic rate unfortunately. Be careful what you wish for
