Do rope inside a sauna, but you have to drink a lot of water, because youl get a bit dehydrated.
Do rope a lot, and try to run even if s cold outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to rain on your parade or anything but 7lbs in 3-4 days is nothing. Obviously watch your food intake, drink less fluids (and if you ARE drinking anything but water, STOP NOW), and do some cardio to get the sweat pouring out. It's not the end of the world.. most people lose in between 2-4lbs of water weight everyday at the gym.

DJ quick in the heezy. You might wanna put your finger down your throat and let loose. *yuk-yuk*.
7 pounds by Friday? Cut down the water and liquids. And sweat all that ***** out. You'll be fine.

EDIT: just re-read and realized he's 2 days out and not 7.
In a nutshell: 2 gallons of water today (wed), no water or sodium on Thursday, if still heavy Friday morning: skip breakfast & sweat it out with sauna suit OR sauna.
7 days out is a bit too early to cut water.
I would have him drink 2 gallons of water a day for the next 5 days and then cut fluids entirely for the last day and a half.
If he wakes up the morning of the weigh-ins still a bit heavy, then skip breakfast & sit in the sauna or do cardio in a sauna suit (I don't recommend sauna suit in the sauna because if your body overheats, it can't cool off immediately and you could pass out and die).
It's also important to take in no salt/sodium those last 2~3 days either - drink gatorade, pedialyte, and/or some sea salt (with water) after the weigh-ins until fight time.
Sodium is what keeps water in your body (water retention), eating a lot of it will cause temporary weight gain; but you need it when you're working out in order to stay hydrated.
Food-wise: no candy, no fried stuff, no cheese, no salty stuff, limit processed grains like white bread, white rice, and food containing white flour.
Veggies (the darker the better), fruits (juice is okay), meat (lean beef, chicken, fish), and whole grain foods (oatmeal, brown/wild rice, whole wheat bread, etc) should be your staples.Last edited by Pork Chop; 03-04-2009, 01:37 PM.
