    Training routine?

After seeing Marg destroy Cotto by non stop punching and coming forward I have been shadow boxing non stop and sparring for hours instead of bike and running machine. Would this benefit me more?

    Intelligent people's views only please.

errm sparring hours on end will just make you a slower paced fighter, just work on upping your punch output in sparring and start going for runs (long distance and short distance) and intervals too. other conditioning exercises such as burpees are also good

don't put all your eggs in one basket -- sparring and shadow boxing are great conditioning/skill work but never forget the importance of variety

concentrating on strength endurance helps to delay the onset of muscular fatigue in punches, while running/conditioning works to keep you from running out of breath during high punch outputs
