    How many miles should i jog in the morning to be real fit in the ams?

    3 ... do 3 in the morning and maybe 2 at night if you can.

    but if just once... do 4.. but with a good time.

        Lol! That's what I'm doing at the moment. I know from reading you other humorous posts that you're having a laugh. But, walking briskly can be almost as good for you as running. In saying that though, my leg is feeling able to put real pressure on so will hopefully start running soon. I've not run since school-time, 19 years ago!!! So, will be taking it easy to start with. I'd love to be able to do what Da1catas said and do 3 in the morning and 2 at night but may be a bit of a pipedream seeing as I'd have to get up at about 5 in the morning if I wanted to do that!

              i feel i got into boxing too late only this/ end of last year have i had the urge to get into the ring. im gonna be 20 in june. but i run every morning just in case the day comes where i do get properly involved

                run up hills thats the most important to build stamina ,strength and endurance but thats if your rearly serious about it.
                I run 5 - 6 miles 3 times a week yeh i know im slacking lol and i run up 6 hills so u shud try run up a few hills jus add them on your run.

                  all i do is run up and steep hills, great for stamina, and recreating that exhausting feeling in sparring, like you just threw a big flurry.

                  also builds strength in your legs which is very important
