    Time to quit???

My gym is really good, very highly rated, lot of fighters who keep winning, great trainers who work you hard and full of good banter. However, its always ****ing rammed now. Tonight we had like 30 people training with 4 coaches with 9 of them 30 having up and coming fights so they obviously took priority. I dont feel like im learning anymore because its too busy and the trainers cant get time with each person (which isnt there fault). I never get to spar either because my gym seems to attract alot of 5'7 9 stone people whereas im 6'2 and weigh 11 stone 8 so im far too big too spar these. The only people my weight are too experienced for me too heavy spar with.

Not thinking of quitting boxing but thinking of quitting this gym and moving elsewhere thats less busy - might not be as good but i may learn more and get more of a chance. what do you guys think???

well i was kinda in this situation but alot worse and i had problems with the coach personally and he always treated beginners like ****. have you talked with the coahces about it and let them know the whole situation on how your not getting enough 1 on 1?

Good point b4e. Also out of the 30, how many are new? You may find they drop out after a while and you'll have more time with the coaches. Unfortunately you might have to go to another gym, but I wouldn't leave the one you're in just yet until you have checked out the others first - they may be worse!

im was in the same position as you (literally) then a few weeks later the trainers could see how i was improving and they were telling me your making progress and now i get quite a bit more one on one training. stick at the gym as the other guy said if there is loads of beginners not all of them will keep turning up
