I talked to a trainer today and he told me that at his boxing gym they taught you the basics and it was more like a work out to get your cardio and endurance up and then once you got that up you can get in and do the sparring. I asked him what I got with the classes and he told me just the basics if I wanted to learn the whole 9 yards I was gonna have to do one on one training and that usually works out to about 40 bucks and hour... I don't have that kind of money as of right now. I was wondering if a 300 dollar membership for the whole year witch includes free classes on the basics and use of all the equipment in the gym is a good deal? Do all boxing gyms work like this? Theres some pretty good gyms here in Las Vegas but all the good ones are far away and I don't know if this gym I went to would be all that great because they don't get too in depth with you.
