    **** Yeah

My first boxing match is on Feb. 17th at my gym . My biggest problem is that its a month away. I've only been going to the gym three months and I do barely any condition training. I was actualy gonna start jumping rope every other night before I even knew about the fight, but I have a pretty nast ingrown toenail that hurts like a mother****er. I need to get in shape and I pretty much need to start tommorow. So what kind of running should I be doing? And how long are the rounds, and how many are there in an amateur boxing match? I am fourteen years old by the way.

its three two minute rounds with 10 or 12oz gloves i believe. u must do roadwork bro skipping rope alone isnt enough IMO. You should running in intervals... jogging and short hard sprints then back down to jogging, or you can do whatever u want as long as ur running. Work your ass off so that on fight time you can punch and punch without worry of gassing out. You can have all the skill but a well conditioned guy who keeps coming forward throwing combinations will give u trouble
