Povetkin, Pulev..Probably way too many networks and promotional differences involved but that would be cool.

Can we get a Super 8 tourney at HW? Fury, Wlad, Wilder, Joshua, Ortiz, Haye...

Cut Wilder since he doesn't mind fighting part time barbers and carwashers. Plus he's with Haymon
Joshua isn't ready just yet, Ortiz fought a more dangerous opponent in Jennings than Joshua did in Whyte.
Let's call it, " Hateful 6: Heavyweight Hard Knocks Tournament"
1.Tyson Fury vs David Haye
2. Wladimir Klitschko vs Luis Ortiz
3. Alexander Povetkin vs Bryant Jennings
-
Throw Joseph Parker in there as well
Heavyweight is starting to come to life, hopefully we see some of these guys matched up soon

That is never going to happen. It is just too complicated with too many networks and promoters involved to ever put it together. Joshua won't fight the best guys yet. Team Wilder is a cherry picker who is not about to enter a tournament where they have no control over who Wilder fighters. I think that Ortiz is as good as any of them and would have a hell of a shot of knocking Wilder and Fury both out and Joshua too when his is ready to step up. Those tournaments take to long to complete when they do come together anyway. If I remember correctly the 168 pound tournament took about two years and that is too long.

Why would a 40 year old Klitschko get involved in a multi year tournament? Pulev doesn't seem interested in fighting anyone with a pulse. Joshua needs a few more fights with better competition, he also has less than 32 total rounds as a pro.
Maybe in a year or so. Throw in Takam or Parker in place of Klitty.

Give Pulev some time - he's getting his mind strong again after getting cracked with that left hook - the same shot - like three times.
