So why would the commission not approve the blue gloves but approve the red ones if they were the same? If Floyd has the commission in his pocket like some of you claim on here they why would they approve the red ones then? I would think that they would not approve both pairs.

Because they were not sealed in the packaging.

I have to question whether Floyd going under USADA testing is legit. I mean if he has this much influence in Vegas to have the other fighter not even be able to wear Cleto Reyes gloves...then something is fishy. Why wouldn't Floyd use VADA testing when he was negotiating with Pacquiao? Finally, why does Floyd's body look much more muscular now than it did when he was younger at the lower weight divisions. All of sudden Floyd moves up in weight and his body looks amazing. And why does Floyd take time off from boxing? Does it have to do with PED cycles?

Lol Floyd has already tarnished his legacy and he will never be considered "The Best Ever" or anything close to that.

Mayweather using 10 oz. gloves was actually beneficial to him because Oscar is the puncher and he's a defensive fighter and used those 10 oz. gloves to cover his face all night.

When Mayweather was negotiating with Pacquiao he tried to get Pacquiao to fight him at a catch weight above 147 pounds so he could use 10 oz. gloves to diminish Pacquiao's hand speed and punching power. People act like the blood-testing was the only issue. Floyd had one issue after the other and after Pac agrees to blood-testing he has another excuse.

Not much here, but one thing that I find is interesting is the promoter is to provide the gloves. Shouldn't a world class promotional outfit such as GBP recognize a defective glove upon receiving them to provide to one of its main event fighters?

In the video Floyd keeps talking about "this is a Mayweather Promotion" so he may have a loophole cause they were the ones who noticed it. Just saying cause i read that and remembered that.

I dont care for the glove story. I agree he should have allowed the 2nd approved pair to be used but im not buying the "put him in pillows" "commission is ruled by Floyd" type excuses. I personally dont think gloves would have made difference. Some of you do and thats cool. I just responded cause i found that one rule interesting.

Maidana put up great fight but gassed halfway and Floyd won it in the 2nd half.
