How you gonna underestimate someone... AND also worry about them? Doesn't make sense to me. Either they worry you bcuz you think highly of them, or... you don't worry about them bcuz you don't believe in their abilities (underestimate them).

      It's certainly a contradicting statement.

first of all. alavarez is'nt smart nor good enough to spank mayweather. secondly. if alvared comes in at 154. there's a huge penalty that could wipe out his guarantee.

Will he QUIT ? old unc rog QUIT

Canelo must KO JR to win
I actually think if lets say the unthinkable happened and Floyd was laying a Gatti like beating on Canelo , not stopping him just totally teeing off for round after round and Canelo landing nothing , I feel by 10 a beat down and dead tired Canelo could quit on his stool .

If you watch the Gatti fight when Buddy called the fight off, Gatti was about to quit , within another round he would have , And Gatti is a game mother .

The point Im making is that 99% will quit if you put them on the bottom of a severe beat down for long enough , its just time .

Would Floyd quit in that deal , more than likely but I don't think it means anything with a fighter that has so much ability because if you cannot get past the ability it don't matter a **** if he has a heart the size of a pea .

I agree that Canelo must KO him to win I cant see Canelo whipping Floyd on pts .

I hope its a great fight Im starting to get a buzz as the weekend nears .

It's allegedly 1 million per pound. His purse is 12.5. 2 million to come in at his comforatable weight in a fight that if he wins would be the biggest of his career, not to mention the pay days that would come would make it well worth.

Even if he lost it would bee worth it to know you were at your best and not drained. in the grand scheme 2 mil is nothing!!!!

I think Canelo is underestimating Floyd and he's the worried one. I don't think he's underestimating a younger fighter who's a naturally bigger man. I think Canelo can underestimate Mayweather's power and that can have him worried about how he'll react to a shot that does more than he it expected it to. That can worry the fighter who's having hos first big dance. This isn't the first time Mayweather faced a fighter who's bigger with KO power. This is the first time Canelo stepped up to this level. Who's worried???

Floyd should be worried. If the fight is close, then he is the one who would get robbed. Canelo is a Golden Boy fighter and its mostly their promotion. There looking to make Canelo the "new" Golden Boy and cash cow. He is the future and Floyd is not. Floyd can't think he can just pot shot his way to victory. Every time Canelo lands or just come close to landing, the crowd will go wild. This could sway the judges. Floyd needs to be very offensive minded and put punches together. If not, he could get outworked by Canelo and it doesn't even have to be effective punches landed. It could end up like the same scenerio as Oscar vs Pernell. I felt Pernell outboxed Oscar but Oscar was the busier and more popular fighter. Plus, the only fight that's bigger than this fight, would be the rematch. That only happens if Canelo wins.

Is trivial that a responsible fighter should be worried before a fight...
It would be interesting if Alvarez chooses to stay on his back foot and on the ropes for a while...
