hilarious is the irony of someone who is displaying a quotation of Sun Tzu getting narky about me telling it how it is regarding a fighter's wilful ******ity...
        brilliant.
the irony is you coming to a boxing forum looking for an eloquent speech by a man who takes fists to the face for a living.

just a lil advice ..next time ,ask the fighters youre interviewing questions that really matter , not those corny ass ones like "would you go to the philippines with nonito"...no offense but you looked like you were in loved with rios in that video and sounded like a **** stirrer with the whole rios vs elie beef......

Rios should call out Marquez after he knocks out Alvarado

also the sport being how it is, professional boxers are very much public figures and i think have some responsibility (how much is debatable, but some at least) to act in a way that does not give a bad role model or give the sport a bad image. the kid has a vocabulary of two words, one being mother, the other being f**ker, and seems to be quite proud of it, his boxing isn't much more intelligent either.
Dude, he grew up in the hood in Kansas and probably didn't have much of an education growing up. Was in and out of jail his early life.

He's a boxer for a reason, how many boxers are scholars? Relax man, it's a poor man's sport, not for the rich, well educated elite.

Are there some smart boxers? Sure, but athletes in general aren't the brightest.

Sir, did you expect him to converse with an articulate vocabulary as he addresses the young man's questions?

Even The common individual uses much more simple choice of words... relax

Yes that's exactly what he does.
I prefer to see someone who can fulfil their job description ("boxer") a little better. Someone intelligent enough to box can usually string a sentence together reasonably well.
I don't consider that eloquent I just consider it to be a minimum standard for any adult human who doesn't have special needs of some kind. Not a lot to expect but ah well
