Floyd has stood and fought against every southpaw he's faced...hell he got rocked by Corley and a few seconds later came back and hurt Corley while he was still hurt. He didn't pull a Cotto and do the chicken dance and ran the rest of the round or attempt any low blows. He stood there and fought. What makes you think Ortiz is so special that Floyd will go against his word and run?

Seriously. I love it when Floyd fights southpaws. You always see a struggle in the early-mid portions of the fight and then Floyd starts digging in looking for that TKO. I'm not sure if Zab would have heard the final bell if he didn't resort to the lowblow-rabbit punch combo. He needed that rest cause Floyd was digging in that ass! I'm very excited about this, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Ortiz resort to running in the mid-late rounds like he has in many of his earlier fights.

dont get me wrong...i'll buy the fight coz im intrigued with what floyd will do to beat a strong southpaw like ortiz.....but like i said, i dont belive he will keep his words about fighting ortiz's fight and stand in front of him....dont believe it for a second...

Judah was a very strong lefty at the time. This is a replay baby boy. The late rounds are gonna be brutal for the kid. Young May doesnt get tired like the rest of his opponents.

Atleast be creativity like STRUGG and correct a misspelling or something. All because Hamed is one my favorite fighters you suddenly assume that I think he's greater than Pac. Lol, that's some great logic there.

He did it with Mosley... Who's an even bigger puncher, and is faster.

He also did it with Zab Judah, the last southpaw he fought.

and yes, ortiz quit but againts a power puncher who's relentless, floyd is neither of those......i dont see a reason nor why floyd should fight ortiz toe to toe... nor the chnces of that happening...
