    Margarito murders Cotto in a rematch.

    Cotto's power at welterweight was not enough to keep Margarito away, his power is worse at JMW. Margarito doesnt have the power of Mayorga but he is much more active and can throw punches and keep coming forward for the whole 12 rounds. Cottos stamina is still bad, he gassed at the end of nearly every round. Cottos defence is still as bad, Mayorga landed alot of his power punches.

    Cotto cuts easy as shown by how marked up his face was yet again. Even if you think Margarito used wraps in the 1st fight, he was able to bust Cotto up when the plaster wouldnt of been hard enough to take effect. Margarito isnt as good as he was in 2007 but hes nowhere near as past it as Cotto is. He still has the stamina, chin and volume punching that made him the monster he was.

    After seeing Cotto last night id agree before last night i taught Cotto would win because he was in the better shape but he didnt look good but in Margaritos case he isnt the 100 punches around iron chinned (although still able to take a punch but not to the same affect) fighter he was in the Cotto and prior fights so its still a close fight.WARGARITO

          You mean the same margarito who after they found the wraps got DESTROYED by Paquiao and Mosley? Remember, Cotto beat mosley and he gave Pacquiao a better fight than cheato did.

              Yes..the same margo that was beaten into misery by mosley, looked like absolute **** against an F level opponent in Garcia and leaving no doubt that he was complete rubbish against pacman...even at a catchweight of 150..gtfo

                Without the plaster and at 154 it's a completely different fight.

                Still, if Margarito lets his hands go and makes Cotto work every round, it could be interesting. People have to remember that even with a busted orbital bone Margarito went 12 rounds with Pacquiao and he's already taken Cotto's best shots and wasn't phased. IMO I think Margarito has Cotto's number.

                They both have faded since the first fight.

                    Yeah,I said i would wait & see what Cotto does against mayorga before i decide.I didn't see the fight,but according to what I heard,Cotto stood & traded & boxed when he had to.Now I believe that Mayorga has more 1 punch power than Margarito & actually has the ability to throw under pressure.Margarito just covers up waits until U unload then hopes ur within his range when U stop to return fire.

                    If Cotto can take mayorga's shot,he can take Margarito's.If Cotto can box when he needs to & slugg when he must,he will beat Margarito in the rematch.Margarito is not the same fighter he was when they fought the 1st time.Cotto still has more left than him.
