Elijah Garcia got lucky to get the decision against Gausha, debatable and controversial that he won.
It's not a bad thing that he lost though, happens when fighters fight top contenders. But Garcia hasn't looked his best recently, losing to Davis then getting a controversial win that he should had lost. He got s professional trainer like Bob Santos that will round out his game, as he took more risks through receiving damage. He will be improving as he is 22 years old, But I don't think he should be top 5 in a any of organizations, he receive a career ending beating against Hernandez, Lara, Janibek and Adames.
This Garcia is delusional if he thinks he won at all let alone "clearly "A pure hype job as far as being a Champion. He's like top 20 in his division. Like number 20.
Getting the win against Gausha was pobably the worst what could have happenend. This guy is slow with no one punch knockout power a medium okay gas tank bad technique and the worst defense and questionable chin. After beatin Gausha a step up is logical but any step up and he will receive a career changing beatdown. I can't see him becoming a succesful boxer just can't see it. He will be damaged gods at age 26 and forced to retire without ever coming close to win a belt
