Well it certainly didn’t look like it; Judging by his last bout. That performance has to rank up there as his worst.
Not only at the 168 weight pound division but perhaps his entire career.

He looked very old and slow. Canelo fought as if he just showed up for an easy pay day and didn’t train. He looked very unfocused, undisciplined and unprepared.

Truth. Canelo is not a real boxer anymore, he's masquerading as one with nothing but phony exhibitions with hired opponents who happily trade the L for the career high payday. All of Canelo's fights are polite sparring sessions now, nobody trash talks him or mentions Canelo's dodgery and business greed to keep robbing the fans. Canelo is ruining the image of boxing, like Mayweather did. The only solution is to boycott Canelo into retirement because we know he will not fight Benavidez or Beterbiev. You have to wonder if Crawford is on the take now, happy to take the career best payday for the sparring L in his last fight at age 39.

        The "Monster" Of Bums
        Benny The Bumslayer ( )

Being the face was not gifted to Nelo

What happens to Canelo's legacy once he loses to a much naturally smaller black fighter? Who is jumping all the way up from a 135 lbs to challenge him at 168? Would his career be tainted, tarnished and ruined forever because of it?

              His career is already tainted.

The commentators make me vomit and I don't watch Canelo fights unless he fights somebody who isn't a cab driver cherry pick.

Lol i laugh when they say that.. but they also said he was a great fighter and he's not.

They are just selling to the casuals.

If he were anywhere near the face of boxing he wouldn't have been fighting at 7am in the morning against an unknown guy .

Him and Crawford have agreed to a draw.

                  His excellency is getting played.

Plausible theory mate. Canelo could manipulate that through Sulaiman's judges. Easily. This fight has a phony feel to it. The staredown had zero tension or grudge. It was boring. Like two business partners pretending to resent each other.

Crawford is acting and talking so "polite" about this fight. Real fights went off script and they trash talked and exposed the other's flaws and *****. Can see this one staying on script and be a dull soft sparring waltz. Like all the other Canelo shows.
