I noticed he tends to leave his head exposed a bit when he throws shots to the body and a quick counter puncher can make him paid with short straight punches if he’s not too careful. Not really a technical flaw, but he tends to be too overly aggressive when he gets hit a few times trying to return fire right away and that can be a mistake against a high IQ boxer who can exploit that to his advantage.

Technically one has next to visible no flaws when fighting inferior competition. It is only when mathed evenly or above class that his flaws are more visible.

Asside from getting a little desperate when he gets hit, I do not think he takes body shot well.

He is very good and pays attention to carefully match making. A good swarmer or a man who can punch hard are fighters he will not meet. A pound for pound match maker he is.

he is naturally bigger than Floyd after all
correct, but he hasnt fought naturally bigger guys than floyd did.. oscar, cotto, canelo were all bigger guys than anyone crawford has fought so far. and plus crawford is not a better defensive fighter than floyd was. crawford likes to exchange more.. so if canelo forces crawford to fight very defensive, we havent seen how crawford performs with that style.

Usyk does not have soft match making.

He needs to come out of that southpaw stance against Canelo and fight more in his orthodox stance. He could have conceivably lost that fight to Israil Madrimov. He ate an awful lot of right hands that night.

I know that boxing fans are totally divided over the decision. It could have gone either way. Moreover, he doesn't want to being eating those type of right hands against Ginger.

I totally agree. At this point; It's safe to say that Bud is no longer an ambidextrous or switch hitting fighter. He is officially a southpaw. I know he is a converted one. However, he almost never fight in his natural orthodox stance anymore.

Which is very true and was also the reason why he kept getting hit repeatedly with that same right hand over and over again against Madrimov because he cannot switch back to his natural orthodox stance again. Now he is just a converted southpaw.

Only in spurts in the first round or 2, then after unsuccessful finding his rhythm, he reverted back to southpaw and will his way to victory.
