I don't know why they wrote an article about this fight on boxingscene seeming as though 95% of the people that post on here don't have a clue who these fighters are. These guys can only go back as far as Mayweather vs Pac!

But I remember that fight. Those were the days of Top Rank, King Vision and Main events. Everyone fought each other and there was arguments amongst fans about the best promoters. Ahhhh those were the days

The Beast holding onto Terry's legs trying to not go down........
If Terry himself had a better chin, he'd be a HOFer

Hagler Mugabi was a classic. Maybe both weren’t the same the afterwards . Definitely not Mugabi that is for sure mentally anyway. Maybe Marvin was just old against Leonard. Terry Norris was big fixture then especially to myself as I was live when Terry fought my countryman Troy waters what a fight while it lasted. It was when a wrecking ball 3G invaded the U.S.A that I realized it Terry Norris ole trainer Able Sanchez was back .

Hagler was still the active one when he fought Leonard.. Leonard had only had one fight in 5 years and Hagler was still champion and still putting him great performances, even the Leonard fight you could argue all day that he won that it was a razor close fight. If anything Leonard should of been the one to look bad in there but he didn't and he boxed the right fight that got him the decision

Unfortunately that's the truth......back when Hagler fought John Mugabi, Mayweather's father and uncle were active and Manny was still years off into the future.

It's why you'll often read comments that lack perspective and you can't seem to get though to them because they lack any sense of reference.

At least these articles give newer fight fans an opportunity to broaden their horizons. There's some great fights out there to discover. Whether or not they will TAKE that opportunity is an entirely other question, of course.
