The first defeat meant the loss of his junior-middleweight world title, but the second defeat probably hurt Tim Tszyu even worse

“Don’t do what I did last time,” he said. “Maybe I’ll do the same thing; it’s just I have to not get knocked out.”

      Oooooh Timmy... so close

Tzsyu is the guy that fights "Mexican style", I mean, no defense.

Good luck with that style, he will need it.

Many elite fighters have reinvented themselves or made major tweaks to their arsenal, but they have done so earlier in their careers. I will say tho that there were fights were Tszyu wasn't as reckless as in his last fight. We don't know what is going to happen, but as of now he sounds troubled and confused, he's clearly affected by that destruction, and who wouldn't? There aren't that many Roberto Durans or Lennox Lewises out there who can continue to be successful after being demolished.

Mexican style has Head movement, Tszyu has an upright Australian style. Tszyu possibly got his soul snatched by Murtazaliev might not ever be the same man in that Ring.

That wound caused by Fundora had him pawing his head before being stopped.

I hope he watched both fights more than once.

Agree with you on the soul snatching: Bakhram beat Tszuyu so thoroughly that people are afraid to fight him - even though he has a title they could challenge for. Tszuyu’s two biggest mistakes were: 1. continuing to fight after Elbows Fundora carved him up and 2. believing too much of his own hype.

                Long road back for Kazoo.

Agree with you. he has made two big mistakes and the road back will be very long.

He can rebuild himself if he takes it slowly, not rushing to fight the top dogs straight away BUT he needs his old man to stay away from his corner and not watch the fight live in the audience. Someone pointed out that his arrogance in the last fight came from having Kostya there with him and Tim desperately wanted to impress his famous father who abandoned them as children long time ago to start a new family.

In his previous fights he was patient and methodical and did not just think he can walk through a world champion caliber opponents.
