Should Jose Valenzuela fight Teofimo Lopez next?

Before his loss to Edwin De Los Santos and while training under Benavidez Sr, Rayo's rising popularity was due to rumors of him stopping Teofimo twice in sparring, where Jose admitted it was with a body shot before his pro debut at age 18 against a 21 year old Lopez.

Now that both are champions in the same division, should they fight in a professional bout to prove that sparring is a form of preparation that shouldn't be involved with the outcome of a real fight or prove that Valenzuela's does indeed have his number.

Rayo has arrived he looked like a sniper last night.

Him vs Teo makes a lot of sense.

He'll more likely to get that fight than the PBC in-house Tank fight. Go for it.

Feel like this improved version of Rayo at 140 could go to to toe against Lopez, Puello and Paro. Whether he wins he have to prove it, but he does seem to have the athletic qualities and sufficient skills to pull off the win, though the same can be said for the others.

if he were to beat Lopez, I probably favor him over Paro and have a 50/50 shot against the illusive Puello as he can counter the opponent's use of angles and reach.

Rayo bet on himself and won , he should look to get paid ............Ryan called him out that is the fight he should pursue 1st as it will pay him the most .
