Beating Alvarez Makes T-Bud Greater Than Manny Paq Maybe As Great Mayweather

jumping two weight classes to 168 from 154 and beating Alvarez would be the single greatest victory in the HISTORY of the sport of boxing

You’re going to roll with this all the way, aren’t you? Lol

At the very least even from the most pessimistic point of view, it would be a bigger deal than Mayweather beating Alvarez in 2013. Canelo looks sturdier and much stronger than he was in his earlier days at 154.

I don’t know necessarily if Crawford goes past someone like Pacquiao (because of how dense his results were), but that would be a HELL of an achievement. The only way it’s not is if Alvarez just happens to get iced by Berlanga and all of a sudden we’re here saying Canelo is shot and chinny.

it would be a pretty damn good win alrite

canelo at aged 20 was fighting at 147 i think
bud at aged 20 was fighting at 135

then it was bud at 147 and canelo at 168

its a 20 pound difference maybe that bud has to make up for the fight

I think Bud going up that much will be more than he can chew. His advantages will no longer be as relevant there and not for nothing, Canelo still hits hard even if the bigger guys are taking his shots better. I'm not sure how Crawford takes the punch considering how easy he went through Errol.

Either way, I'd say Bud's achievements will stand on their own as Pacquiao do. I sometimes hate saying one is better than the other because at the end of the day, they're excellent fighters and accomplished a lot. Do we really need to put someone in front of the other?

T-Bud would have beaten ONE great fighter AND STILL be in talks with manny & Floyd

          odd record

Floyd and manny had to get through multiple greats to reach top 30 atg

So Crawford beating a guy that got completely dominated by Mayweather makes him as good as Mayweather????

You can't make this stuff up.

I don't think so, resume isn't strong enough in comparison to theirs.

But, would be a astronomic win though.

It'd make him greater than both.

Jumping up 2 weight classes at 37 is something that neither man did or would do.

To beat a top 10 P4P fighter in the world to do it would be beyond historic.
