Jumping up 6 lbs is a hell of a lot less than 14 lbs. Even if Floyd did start at 130.

I was always surprised Floyd never fought Martinez around 2013/14. Martinez was clearly declining and he would’ve happily made 155 or whatever catchweight Mayweather wanted for the payday. Could’ve added the lineal Middleweight title, would’ve been a huge notch on his legacy.
      Respectfully this is confusing.

If Sergio was declining, no one would give him credit, especially if it was at a CW.

That wouldn’t bother Floyd though, he just wanted the accolades and the bag. People on the forums might nitpick at it but the history books would say he beat the lineal champ at 160.

Cotto still got quite a bit of credit too tbf. Claiming the lineal title at 160 would’ve been a huge get for Mayweather’s legacy. I think it was a missed opportunity as it would’ve been a pretty low risk fight for him in 2013/14.

Yeah Floyd would’ve just picked him off had they fought around 2013/14. Sergio was never really the same after the 12th round vs Chavez where he injured his knee.

Crawford walks around at 180+, it's not a big jump up in weight. He spars with Light-heavy's and cruisers. I like Bud, but beating Canelo doesn't put him above Manny. A year ago the PBC fangirls were trashing Bud's resume. Then they made excuses for Spence's loss to him. Now he's suddenly the greatest if he beats Canelo. I get that you are trolling here but Crawford by no fault of his own, doesn't have the resume. The best PBC welters ducked him for years. Charlo is ducking him at 154.

Yes but you get my point. There seems to be a different standard for Floyd.

              I can respect your opinion.

If bud beats Nelo it is better than any floyd win by far. Doesn't necessarily make him greater though. That's why I want bud to win title at 154, and 160.

Yet you think he’d get credit for this win.

You haven’t made any argument to support that. Just whining about Floyd because you’re still upset he beat Manny so easily. He beat Canelo easier than Manny.

I think that is because beating Canelo makes Bud better than Manny but not Floyd.
You go off on a tangent. I said bud beating Nel o is better than any floyd win, hands down. But just because bud beating Nel o is better than any floyd win don't necessarily make him greater.
But we know buds not beating nelo, so no need to worry.
