Line em up and he'll try to knock em down!
"I will fight anyone, and I'll call out anyone."
He has packed on eight kilograms of muscle – and could add more – as he attempts to minimise the size disparity for a likely dangerous rematch with Zhilei Zhang in Saudi Arabia.
"At the moment I’m preparing for Zhang because that’s what I’m contracted for but it depends on what Saudi Arabia and Turki Alalshikh wants,”
“I was told September, now, hopefully, October and hopefully we can lock in an opponent so we can start taking it down to what we need to do for a certain fighter and style.”
By my reckoning The Desert Turki will only call for the Zhang rematch if Joshua fights Dubois.
I doubt AJ goes near Doobie unless they strip Usyk of the IBF strap and doesn't fancy his chances against Prime 2024 Parker.
More than likely Joshua chooses the old, tired chinaman instead. Doobie and Parker probably won't risk their interim status to fight each other while Usyk/Fury 2 is still in play either.
There's still the chance Fury bails on the rematch or retires himself. In which case Parker deserves a shot at Usyk if he still wants to party on.
Im stilI leaning toward Usyk retiring if a belt gets stripped. In the meantime a resurgent Parker is the guy whose done the most to earn his title shot and is putting in the work to make sure when it comes he's more than ready!
