IMHO both things can be true at once. Of course everyone wants a piece of barrios, haney included. But manny coming back for a legit win against any title holder is kinda cool to. Make the fight, rather that then Devon or whoever tf is left at ww besides unification.

I agree with all you said its a good win, the easiest WC to go for but I don't see that as a cherry pick it wont be easy, and I don't see it as a show of being the Goat WW.

I don't mind the fight at if that's what Manny wants to do, I think his class would get him through Barrios, a good payday another title more power to him I say.

I wouldn't call this fight a cherry-pick just because he thinks he can beat him and Barrios is not Crawford level; these cliches like cherry-picked are often thrown around by fans very broadly.

Everybody knows manny is coming back to earn money as he lost a fortune fighting for the phillipine presidency. Quite sad how the advisor is trying to sell it like manny loves and misses the game . At 45 do you really want to smacked the face by a lot younger guys ?

You're right, it is a smart move for Pacquiao. And it is a tough fight for Manny. And you're right, most world champions are tough - even with 4 belts out there - if not necessarily elite. You still have to be very good to get to that level. A lot of world class fighters never even got a belt. Honestly, most fights are cherry picks when there's a clear A-side who can, well, pick his opponent.
