For me the real boxing starts at middleweight. I enjoy watching big men from light heavy and on the most.

I think that's possible. I haven't seen them next to eachother but doesn't Ramirez have the bigger frame?

GBP doesn't really do anything above 175lbs.... they have 1 heavyweight and zero cruiserweights. They're not a good fit for a cruiserweight champion. Moving on is definitely a good idea.
Ramirez dropped the WBO belt because Eddie and Arum were trying to get the unification between him and Smith together. As soon as Ramirez heard that, he ran away. It had nothing to do with Saunders.

Ramirez doesn't face solid opponents. Please. They're either shot, inactive, too small, coming off loses or just straight garbage. Who could you say were the solid opponents?

Let's not pretend Ramirez is any kind of champ. At SM he beat a shot Abraham who was coming straight from a robbery against Martin Murray. Abraham shouldn't have even had the title. And now at Cruiserweight he beat someone who wasn't world class and hadn't been in a ring for 16 months. Which is the reason for why they targeted him in the first place.

Ramirez is NOT moving on.. He affirmed his alligiance to the team already this morning.. this article was always jumping the gun, but this site is anti-goldenboy, so what’s new!!!

Zurdo vs Canelo will definitely happen down the line!!

Seems quite unlikely that Canelo would take that big of a leap whether it was Zurdo or not, aware he had plans to fight at cruiserweight against a hand picked opponent like Ilunga Makabu in 2020-2021 for a belt.

But after having two difficult performances at light heavyweight with one of them being overwhelmed against Bivol and his current declining state, doubt he be eager to fight at a higher weight class any time soon.

To me at least, Zurdo Ramirez seems well tested by beating Hart, Abraham, Vlasov, Smith Jr, Arsen, and although he lost, he had fought Bivol for 12 rounds. He might not be the most fast twitched fighter around, but unless you are too athletically gifted and have impressive skills at the same time, doubt it be easy to fight a well rounded mobile 6'3 southpaw with a good punch output. He certainly be more difficult than Munguia who was a former middleweight recently.

Won't say he is undefeatable, but some are quite underestimating him based one performance against a top notch fighter.
