Where are the Fury haters who said Fury will never fight Usyk?
I’m sure the response will be “I’ll believe it when I see him in the ring”
After he gets in the ring, the next goalpost shift will be “Usyk is going to school him”
After the fight they’ll shift again to, “So he won but he will never fight AJ”
Next will be Fury needs to fight Hgrovic

I'd like to know Fury in person. He's to be an odd guy, but very likeable.

We'll see a strange match I guess. Usyk is someone who doesn't want to lose.

I have said since this fight was looking possible: Fury should be the favorite. He is larger, stronger, has a longer reach, and is a proven bad ass that has handled bombs from Wilder that would have put lesser men into a different reality. He is very technically sound and a good ring general. But I still favor Usyk. Beyond my normal reasoning, I am actually a little concerned for the weight loss of Fury. He obviously was out of shape for his last 2 fights, so he needed to get serious. But he fights his best with a full "Dad bode" if you will. It doesn't mean he is "out of shape", as he was "flabby" when he was ending Wilder's career and slapping Whyte all over the canvas in a way no other fighter has come close to. I am worried he is draining himself, and will not have the energy level he will need to match the output of Usyk.

I have always felt this fight comes down to one point: Can Fury get to Usyk early on, effectively using his power and girth to negate Usyk' movement and angles. If Fury can, he wins going away. Usyk cannot match his power. But if he sacrifices that girth to increase his speed and try to match Usyk's endurance and high output, I think he is giving away his biggest advantage (pun 100% completed intended) and plays into Usyk hands. If this is an ugly, mauling, inside brawling kind of fight, Fury KO's Usyk. If this is a fight that uses the entire ring, allows for movement and adjustments, Usyk will play tag with Fury for the first part of the fight, figure out his tendencies, and might pitch a shut-out through the back half of the fight with angles, feints, and high output on the way to a commanding UD.

i think so too. Being flabby is an advantage for him. He doesn’t get hurt in the mid section, has more power and could tire out smaller opponents in the clinch. He’s like a tank in that mode.

regardless though he’s still significantly bigger than usyk.
i think their game plan really is to box off the back foot, use his range and be quick in getting out of usyk’s range, and once usyk closes the gap clinch him and make him reset. Wash rinse and repeat until he feels its time to go kronk style.

Fury throws an excellent uppercut come hooks to the body, usyk can't take it to the body; I expect fury to win by late stoppage. I will also put a bet on a draw

The fact remains that Greedy Belly has never fought any opponent remotely close to Usyk skills. We are going to see a boxing masterclass by Usyk. Usyk by UD or late TKO.

Fury has never fought an opponent as skilled as Usyk and Usyk has never fought an opponent as good as fighting as Fury

This isn't a stiff robotic AJ or Dubois who don't have an original thought in the ring between them.

I'm picking Usyk but writing fury off entirely would be ******.

A counterpoint to that is what Fury looked like in a suit at the AJ Francis fight. It looked like he already had lost the weight. Maybe the early loss leads into great building for the many months after when the fight takes place.
No matter what he loses, he will still come into the ring with a dad bod. That body type will never not have love handles.
