Clear who Nelson wants to win. Yes, Josh is a boxer, he knows about traps, he will try using them too.
Francis is formiddable, as hes a champion and used to winning. He's not a Michael jai white or dk yoo

The fight is Joshuas to lose tbh but the possibility of a loss is there and wouldn't be that shocking.

I think Ngannou is granite, look at his head it's like a cinder block, has he ever been really badly hurt in MMA? Fans of that code let me know.

But anyway, I don't see this guy going over easily at all, and Ngannou has the ability to counter AJ if AJ does plant his feet and unload, which he will be very tempted to do so because of expectations.

AJ is obviously the better boxer that's not in question but when it comes to physical attributes, Ngannou is certainly more robust, stronger and probably punches harder in my opinion at least with single shots.

AJ just needs to box this guy and not do what fury did and get his bell rung early in the fight.

The jab will do 90% of the work here and if the knockout is to come for AJ it will come organically and not by trying to force it,

Ngannou was stunned one time by Stipe Miocic, but Ngannou immediately countered and knocked Stipe out and its because Stipe planted his feet.

I remember. Stipe just knew that rematch wasn’t going his way soon as Francis stuffed the first take down defence.

I remember Francis fighting Derrick Lewis and I felt he was the biggest hype job in combat sports history. His cardio and iQ were dreadful. It’s pleasing to see him iron out wrinkles he had mentally and physically and returned to win it all.

This is where the danger lies for AJ. AJ needs to play jab tag with Ngannou early if not all night. If he tries to come at Ngannou like he came at Otto I foresee Ngannou punching with him & AJ getting hurt.

I do think Ben in the corner is the best guy AJ could have for this fight. Ben is a keep it simple ****** mindset guy & thats probably the way to look at this fight thats leading to the Fury vs Usyk winner if he wins.

Personally tho I'm rooting for Ngannou cuz hes such a great underdog, inspirational athlete who'll sooner or later have a movie made about him if they can find a mfer who can play his giant ass & act, but if he isn't in a position to KO AJ in this fight I don't think he wins.

Just looking at Ngannou's fight history, hes got 21 fights, hes KO'd 16 of those 17 guys he beat & has gone 1-4 in decision fights. He lost his 2nd fight by dec when he was super green, he lost his first ufc belt fight by dec, he lost his first fight after that belt fight in a very odd dec fight, he finally wins a dec in his last ufc fight where he was injured a month before the fight & then he loses a split dec to Fury. Either Ngannou knocks you out or the opp wins by point fighting.

I have a feeling this is going to be a long, boring 10 round UD for AJ. He is not going anywhere near Ngannou unless he is gassing out in the later rounds.

Outboxing Francis is the way, I think unless you are not completely sure about your chin and that you can handle the close distance and the clinch, because of Francis' experience and strength. When Fury was landing 1-2 on him, it was successful, but Fury has a slightly longer reach, while AJ has slightly shorter, so he will have to be fast. So for once, Nelson might be right. I'd like to see AJ knocked out, humiliated and on a "rebuild" again. He is too arrogant, trying to play it like he is nice.

Anyone who thinks this fight will be competitive is delusional, all ngaunno did was prove that fury was a fraud and always has been , there's levels to this sport , easy first half stoppage for AJ, fury never got in with a guy that didn't have a lot of miles on the clock , he beat up washed up old fighters and made a career out of it , the way he jumps in with his punches , really poor technique sloppy fat mess is all he is and ever was, just beat up guys with nothing in the tank , great team is all he had

Probably all in you head, no? Poor technique that even somebody like you can spot, and he gets all the way to the title with that?
