Have a feeling FMJ convinced cRyan to not take the fight with Haney cause if he loses & the fight happens with no clauses, it makes Wahid look like a fool

Idk that Floyd convinced him to do anything, but the higher ROI move was to get a belt & unify with another 140lb guy more than fighting Devin for a belt. He has more options if he has a belt & more bargaining power. So even if Floyd did talk him into this move, its probably the superior move all things considered.
That said if Ryan gets KO'd in 2 vs Rolly this is gonna look like a dumb ass move, but ultimately every fight is a risk that can alter your trajectory so its the cost of doing business in boxing.

How odd that Ryan, a pro fighter with a promising future, is seeking advice from an ATG, the best in his era, that went from small venues on Tuesday nights on USA Network to being the A side in the 3 biggest grossing fights in the history of the sport.
A boxer who became a promoter that helped build Tank into the 2nd biggest North American draw behind Canelo yet doesn’t have to check himself into rehab when his clients are preparing for big fights.
SMDH. Some of you guys just hate to hate.Gary Coleman likes this.
