Well that's exactly how he would go about it, if and when he decides to go after another championship at a higher weight.
I really don't see Inoue not going after all of the glory he can possibly get out of his boxing career, it's been the trend throughout history.
As long as your winning, you continue to let it ride, and Inoue is no different from all of the other great's who came before him! Let's go Inoue!!!!
I wouldn't even put it past him going after the freak of nature Rafael Espinoza, Ramirez is the champion he beat for the title!
Ramirez put up a fairly even fight against Espinoza, so I actually do believe that Inoue can beat Espinoza albeit with some great difficulty!

While I think Naoya wins by knockout and in good fashion, I wouldn't be surprised if Tapales puts a better performance than Fulton considering he actually has power, while Stephen was trying to outbox a very technical big puncher in Inoue whose skills were better or at least on par with his.

That’s the damn truth! Something, aside from boxing, is keeping this dude around forever! Either the nuggs or he signed over his soul one…..

Personal bias included, I think Inoue can defeat Espinowa as well if/when they fight in a few years. Not trying to take any credit away from Espinoza's win, but I also think Robeisy probably didn't know what to expect of Espinoza as much and entered the ring with a wrong fighting plan. He was mostly aiming for that one shot KO at the head and didn't attack the body as much as he should've until it was too late. I also think he underestimated Espinoza's stamina as well and probably didn't expect him to be able to continue his barrage until R12.

And people know that Inoue has quite a lethal body blow that he doesn't hesitate to use, and also is a boxing junky that is willing to trade blows with taller guys.
