I’m taking Haney. Prime Manny avoided Zahir Raheem after he annihilated Morales, who had just come off beating Manny.

Bob and his matchmakers knew it would be problematic for Manny to beat him.

Haney reminds me of Raheem- fast, athletic, not too powerful, long reach- all the attributes Manny has issues with.

Yeah, I feel ya. Haney's got skills resembling Raheem's, and Manny's history with that style ain't all smooth sailing. It's a solid take, recognizing the similarities.

I would favor a prime Pac over a prime Haney. As Haney still has a lot to prove. He hasn't even scratched the surface of his potential yet.

A prime, shoulder injury free Pac could close the distance faster than any fighter I think I've seen. It was incredible how he'd get in and all a sudden take away your favorite weapon because he would punish you for using it.

I have no doubt Pac would of obliterated weight bully Haney. Pac's power at 147lbs was honest enough to keep you from getting reckless with him, but 140lbs and below it was more devastating because he was even faster.

Look, I respect Pac's game—dude was lightning quick and relentless in the ring, no doubt about it. But saying he'd straight up obliterate Haney based on speed and power? That's a stretch, man. Haney's got his own set of skills, and it's not just about size or weight.

I think Pac's the most overrated boxer of our lifetime. Haney beats him but Pac wins a gift and cries about an injury he hadn't spoken about prior to his poor performance.

Man, I hear ya. Pac's hype might've been exaggerated in some ways. That fight where he complained about an injury after not mentioning it earlier did raise questions. Haney's skills could definitely give Pac a run for his money.

However if you want to delve into facts. Pac has fought 3 elite counter-punchers in his career and lost to all THREE. Marquez, (a past prime Morales, in a fight he got outboxed and barely won more than 3 rounds) and a 38 year old Floyd who had his way with Pac for 9 rounds.

Haney would probably beat him at 140, Pac was an amazing fighter - never unbeatable though, no matter what nonsense his fans push.

Pacquiao beat Floyd. Anyone who knows boxing knows Manny beat Floyd and that Manny landed more punches, was the effective aggressor and even stunned Floyd a couple times in that fight. Even Floyd's father knew he was losing. He kept asking Floyd why he was fighting scared.

Of course, the usual suspects were involved in that bogus win for Floyd, such as Moretti.
