This was nearly a decade ago. The fight didn’t happen. Who the f*** cares?

Nobody sends a long form contract when the main deal points haven't been agreed to yet. Hearn knows that. He's just making a lame excuse and hoping AJ's fans will be delusional enough to fall for it.

Wilder emailed AJ and AJ's team a deal memo covering all of the major deal points. If you don't find those deal points agreeable, the other side isn't going to bother putting together a long form contract if you've already declined the key terms.

Few years ago wilder would have won easily. Now after fury wilder is a bid washed out. We'll see against parker. There could even be an upset there. Parker is not a quitter. And he can punch.

Opposite. Few yrs ago AJ would've blasted wilder. Now AJ is scared to engage, timid with no jaw wilder wins by ko within 7

I know, right? This is the over 200 pound version of Brook-Khan. When it was an important, legacy defining match it never happened and both men had detail reasons why it was the others fault. Than when both were shells of themselves and wanted money to retire on, it happened and only a small portion of the public cared and gave each man a fraction of what a fight- or a series of fights- would have earned them. Joshua and Wilder missed their window. It will likely happen, and net each man pennies on the pounds for what they could have earned. But we STILL have all these stories for why it never happened when it mattered.

Shut up and make the fight, or just shut up.

Yeah it’s still a fight I’d like to see but it’s nowhere near what it could’ve been back in say 2018 when they held all the belts between them.

It was found out that it was being funded by BT sports anyways who had nothing to do with Wilder . So it’s pointless and ****** to suggest it was even a realistic counter offer from team Wilder .

This fight, in terms of fan interest and where both guys were at in their careers, peaked like 5 ****ing years ago. Dont get me wrong its still big now, but back then it was twice as big. In 2018 it would have easily been the biggest HW fight since Lennox/Tyson and almost certainly the biggest post-Floyd/Pac fight in any weight class. Instead both guys racked up the losses in much smaller fights and left their primes. Such a ****ing waste.
