Genuine question. If you can refrain from immaturity and give your reasons as to why you rate Filip Hrgovic, that would be great. Does he have a chance against any of the big names? And if so, what makes you think that?
Let's look at some facts that make me question his credentials:
- He got a gift decision against Zhilei Zhang (this is not up for debate)
His top 5 wins:
Maybe you like his win over Rydell Brooker, who was inactive for a year and fought Hrgovic in the midst of going 3-6-1 in his last 10 fights...
Maybe you like his win over Gregory Corbin, currently 15-5 with his most notable wins boasting 14-8-3 and 2-1 records...

His top 5 wins:
- 22-0 Demsey McKean (TKO12) - a domestic-level Australian, whose greatest wins are against 13-4-1 Jonathan Rice or 42-year-old Victor Oganov who was coming off a 2-year layoff
- 22-0 Marko Radonjic (RTD3) - the Euro trash opponents on his unblemished record have a combined record of 119-301-2
- 23-2-1 Amir Mansour (KO3) - Mansour was 46 years old and hadn't fought in almost a year since pissing dirty
- 10-0 Emir Ahmatovic (TKO3) - every opponent on his record had a losing record, besides 45-year-old Ruben Angel Mino, who hadn't fought in three years and had been knocked out early in his last 4 fights. Ahmatovic went on to get flattened by David Adelaye
- 27-5 Eric Molina (KO3) - Molina was 37, coming off 1 fight in 2 years. Molina went on to get flattened by Fabio Wardley
