Why do people rate Filip Hrgovic so highly?

Genuine question. If you can refrain from immaturity and give your reasons as to why you rate Filip Hrgovic, that would be great. Does he have a chance against any of the big names? And if so, what makes you think that?

Let's look at some facts that make me question his credentials:

    - He got a gift decision against Zhilei Zhang (this is not up for debate)

    His top 5 wins:
    • 22-0 Demsey McKean (TKO12) - a domestic-level Australian, whose greatest wins are against 13-4-1 Jonathan Rice or 42-year-old Victor Oganov who was coming off a 2-year layoff
    • 22-0 Marko Radonjic (RTD3) - the Euro trash opponents on his unblemished record have a combined record of 119-301-2
    • 23-2-1 Amir Mansour (KO3) - Mansour was 46 years old and hadn't fought in almost a year since pissing dirty
    • 10-0 Emir Ahmatovic (TKO3) - every opponent on his record had a losing record, besides 45-year-old Ruben Angel Mino, who hadn't fought in three years and had been knocked out early in his last 4 fights. Ahmatovic went on to get flattened by David Adelaye
    • 27-5 Eric Molina (KO3) - Molina was 37, coming off 1 fight in 2 years. Molina went on to get flattened by Fabio Wardley
Feel free to correct me if you think he has better wins than these.

Maybe you like his win over Rydell Brooker, who was inactive for a year and fought Hrgovic in the midst of going 3-6-1 in his last 10 fights...

Maybe you like his win over Gregory Corbin, currently 15-5 with his most notable wins boasting 14-8-3 and 2-1 records...

He best wilder in sparring and although looked like a zombie after taking Zhang bombs he survived. So he's got good survival instincts.Everything in his being was telling him to say no mas when taking Zhang combos, but something deep within him told him to ride it out and hold on in there

He is what he is, a top 10 contender. he surprised me in Zhang fight, he looked like he would quit in many moments, but he found the way ta make it. I think the fight was close. Zhang run scared in the last round, doing nothing ant I think that prevailed.

Some guys here think Makhmudov beats Hrgovic. Well, Makhmudov himself looked bad in Takam fight, so I don`t know. All heavyweights have many flaws.

Hrgovic is just a professional boxer trying to fight his way towards a title fight.

I will say this mate? Hrgovic was a Olympic Bronze Medalist and he is still undefeated as a professional fighter 'His best win being vs Zhang'.

Hrgovic right now, has a better overall boxing resume than Tyson Fury did before his title fight vs Wladimir Kiltschko.

Note: I don't really think people rate him extremely highly as if he is some sort of generational talent, but? He is one of the top Heavyweight fighters in the division currently.

Maybe this behavior of yours in some sort of instinctive hardcore Fury behavior, to try and once again demean another contender who Fury has not fought 'But who Joshua potentially is going to fight, if he beats Otto Wallin'.

People are onto all your games and tactics guys, many people within boxing are now aware of the hardcore Fury sociopolitical machine, within the media and with his hardcore fans etc.

Because boxing scene has had a boner for every EE to make it to the top ten or have an am career worth mention since BS was founded.

I think it's actually because our EE friends make a **** ton of alts and like to give the perception of their guys doing better. Since boxing fans have no brains and no stones they in large go with whatever is or is becoming consensus.

And there you end up with a consensus top man with no brags whatsoever being talked about like as if he's done more than a former champion, that most people when pushed for a reasoning concede they have little.

Or to say it quick like, that special white-asian kind of racism from white asians who like to call themselves european while acting super proud of themselves with no sense of irony at all about it. I live by a ****ing russian village and meet more who claim to be EE here than I do in their ethnically controlled apartment complex.

That question could be applied to anyone .

The Fury vs Ngannou fight was closer then the Hrgovic / Zhang one , so if you think he was gifted a win well then Ngannou have had to defeat Fury as well . Lol

Reasons for what ? The fact Hrgovic clearly outlanded Zhang and it would be mathematically impossible with the stats to lose that one , even had a missed knockdown the ref didn’t see .

Meanwhile you got Fury squeeking by on stats and also getting out landed in power shots and landed once again flat on his back where one can make an actual case he lost and use his face to judge like the way some guys on here do ? Lol

My usual chatting usually sinks these type of threads you guys create . Lol

“My opinion on Filip Hrgović is he is a great fighter, definitely a big, big prospect for the future and a future world champion too,” he said. T.Fury

Because when the IBF called for an eliminator everybody turned it down. Nearly everybody who refused the fight found something more lucrative but it's boxing and the fans are always quick to say someone is ducking.

The narrative changed immediately after the Zhang fight, thankfully.
