    Fury/Ngannu did horrible ppv buys

If things can't get worse for Fury the ppv buys are estimated to be a ridiculously low number.

Fury did 3900 in a ballroom before the Wilder fights, was never and still isn't a draw. if I'm Ngannou, I'm giving Heard a call for the Nigeria fight. More **** for his chin than getting KO'ed by Wilder.

True but man 56k is horrible for the so called "best HW boxer and best HW MMA fighter".

Boxing fans read through the farce and didn’t tune in
MMA fans are the ones who pull out their phones at fights , being savvy to the ******ing , those guys probably watched the fughin fight on their phones
But their mentioning having more of these bullchit crossover fights imagine

PPV events rarely do well in the US when there's not a US fighter involved. The UK PPV numbers would be interesting to know.

Everyone saw it as a mismatch. It was illegally ******ed quite heavily though. Wonder if it'll have any impact on the Usyk vs Fury fight. The Saudis are going to realize Fury isn't the big global star that he purported to be. They obviously know now that he's nowhere near the best heavyweight since Ali and that they were fooled by Fury's own narrative. They were probably also offended that Fury didn't attend the post-fight presser which they arranged. He probably broke his contract by not attending it.

So the problem now is that Usyk vs Fury might end up being a much smaller event with minimal marketing budget because of the poor performance of Fury vs Ngannou.

Until there's a date the fight isn't happening. When it seemed nailed on for the 23rd December I was pretty optimistic it would happen. Now that dates off and we only have a vague "February" from Warren who's to say the contracts won't be broken off?

Does Fury really care? He's surely got more than enough money and his wife seems to want him to retire.

Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen either. Fury cancelled several fights before so he's used to doing that. David Price, Ustinov, Klitschko rematch. Might also depend on how they structured the Usyk vs Fury contracts. Like if they didn't hit certain targets for Fury vs Ngannou then the organizers might have a right to cancel the contract. Or maybe they're all locked in. Was agreed to happen before end of Riyadh season so maybe Fury postpones with some kind of injury excuse, then the contract runs out after the date passes. Guess we'll find out what happens soon enough. Wouldn't rule out Fury orchestrating a fake kidnapping at this point.

                  Fury is difficult to kidnap.
