Nice win for Jack, he's had a good career. Nice to seem him start fast for a change.

Makubu looks a little spent at this stage, arguably lost his previous fight too.

He is not a real 3 division champ. Winning an upgraded LHW belt does not count sorry.

            You proved my point.

You asked who was worse than Jack in the hall 9f fame. There's your answer

              Be patient.

That same fanbase will be pushing Canelo towards a 40 year old Jack at a catchweight for the wbc cruiserweight title soon enough.

Badou Jack always puts on a great show; he's been consistent throughout his career. I personally don't see his accolades or resume as hall of fame worthy but he's still a fantastic fighter. Jack's run at 168 was impressive and it speaks volumes of his dedication and skill to win a world title at cruiserweight at the age of 39.

Makabu on the other hand continues to disappoint me; he's never really improved on his technical flaws or attempted to add different dimensions to his style. Makabu shouldn't of got the victory over Mchunu in the rematch in my opinion. However, Makabu is value for money in terms of excitement even though he was a flawed champion.

The hall of fame is always a point of controversy for fans because there's no clear criteria for entry. I wouldn't be surprised if Jack was nominated because there's a debate to be had about lesser fighters already being in the hall of fame.

Well, that explains why Canelo wanted to fight him. Glad to see Jack become a champ again instead of getting knocked out in his return.
