I think that a win over Gatti and a win over a famous welterweight like Shane Mosely would do it.
How about a win over Tszyu, i think that would indeed be definitive

Not only would that be a good win, tough fights are what is going to make Mayweather popular.

No one wants to buy a pay per view to watch Floyd destroy somebody, it is the same reason Roy Jones was not real popular or interesting untill he went to heavyweight. And it is the same reason Gatti is so popular even though he isn't that great.

agree with what you said, but being considered as a P4P top fighter, you really dont have to be the 'huge sales' in the ppv, you must beat P4P fighters and 'dominate' them convincingly.

IMO, if gatti would defeat floyd(if the fight would materialize) then, gatti would be ranked at least #2 in the P4P rankings for defeating the #2 guy. But if PBF defeats Gatti, he needs one more definitive win over a P4P fighter to unseat BHop in the #1 spot.

It would all be easy if PBF defeats KT instead, that will catapult him to #1 instantly

His credentials are at 130 and 135 not at 140. He has not proven anything at 140 yet. he has fought two opponents at this weight.

I dno't think that Gatti would jump straight up to #2. All it would show is PBF should not fight at 140. I thinks someone like Winky or Maorales/Pacqauio would move to 3 with KT moving to #2. (poviding he beats Hatton. I don't think Gatti can jump KT unless he beats him

You can't be the #2 P4P in the world untill you are the number 1 guy in your weight division.

Mayweather has to wait in line, after Hopkins, Trinidad takes his place, no Roy Jones this time to hog the #1 spot..

Assuming Trinidad beats Wright. Then beats Hopkins or Jermain Taylor of Felix Strum or whoever the middleweight champion is.

I'm pretty sure he will win, but yes I'm assuming he does, like we'er assuming Mayweather gets past Gatti, but obvoiusly now since Roy Jones is gone, and if Hopkins is gone, Trinidad would take the #1 spot before Floyd, so I'll take a guess hes hoping for Winky to win .
