Who are you ? Eddie Hearn ? who cares about him selling himself ? The longer they wait for fights to happen, the less likely they will happen. That's what burying boxing to begin with. The best fight the best never happens when it's supposed to. Who cares if Ramirez fights Bivol a yr or 2 from now. Make it happen now before one of them loses.

That’s fair. When GGG wanted to just chase belts and not really challenge himself to fight the best fighters calling him out, everyone was down with that. When Canelo came up to 168 just looking to collect belts, and at 175 just looking to get a belt up there, his fanbase (which I am part of) had no issues with that either.

Big woop if Bivol jus wants to get other belts. We are talking about, possibly, Beterbiev. Does anyone really have any issues with that? One of the best fights to make in boxing right now is Bivol vs Beterbiev. I am all for it.

I also am not too fond of Ramirez coming in at 204lbs for a Light Heavyweight fight. That is total abuse of the system and I know he isn’t the only one doing it, but this among the craziest one’s I have seen reported. Move up to Cruiserweight with your big ass. That sh/t is not fair. I don’t care if he makes weight, that much rehydration should be unacceptable. All sanctioning bodies and boxing officials should be looking at that and saying “hell no!”. There should be a rehydration rule, 15lbs max. If you need to rehydrate more than that, move your ass up another weigh class.
Damn Wicked Damn Wicked likes this.

The only thing that matters is ramirez is ranked #1 in the WBA.
I had never heard of Gilberto before I read this article. I do see that he has been ranked by Ring for two weeks.

ALL I have wanted from boxing over the last couple years:

                Spence-Crawford.

Oleksandr Usyk to be recognized as the treasure to this sport he is.

                Beterbiev-Bivol.

I can check off Usyk. His win over Joshua in England showed the world this fun, multi-dimensional fighter will happily travel to anyone's own backyard and beat them. While grinning and poking fun at himself.

Spence-Crawford actually has forward momentum. I am allowing myself hope.

Now..... Beterbiev has a unification with Smith, and Bivol wants belts.

Canelo and Ramirez need to step back and let me have my 175 war of styles. It is only fair.

Now technically I know the answer I guess, but I thought it made more sense that the champion has the rematch clause for a chance to regain their lost title. This sounds more like a rematch clause to please the star. I don't see this as Canelo "deserving" a rematch but more so getting a chance to rewrite the script

Wow, Canelo is the poster boy of weight bullies .... coming in to fight 150 lb. Floyd at about 172 lbs. Manipulating fights with his catch-weights oin smaller guys, then rehydrating to 15 lbs heavier or more on fight night. And you're his fan AND complaining that Zurdo is a weight bully??

Wow! I have to congratulate you on your short memory.

Show proof that Canelo rehydrated more than 15lbs on fight night. If you don’t have proof then please stfu.
