Too bad he’s at 168 and 175 because if he was still at 160, the Spence/Crawford winner would be a great matchup imo.
Canelo is showing greatness because he lives the life. Boxing is a lifestyle not just a sport. If you constantly honing your skills and never ditching your diet ect ect you are a step ahead of most all fighters. A training camp should be for strategy and not weight loss.

Of all the fighters for Canelo I personally wanna see him and Benavidez more than any of the others for obvious reasons. If Canelo beats Bivol and GGG which I believe he does I would like to see him fight Benavidez and then the winner of Beterbiev and Joe Smith Jr. If the guy does that and wins those fights he has catapulted to a status higher than most can dream of.

      Are you a great fighter?

      Yes, undoubtedly.

Definitely top 3 in the world right now.

But to day nobody can beat you while ducking the biggest threats to your rain is just plain hyocritcal and delusional.
Bivol beats all three of them. Same night too

So when he couldn’t land any big fights, why didn’t he move up to fight someone like Bivol, who was idle waiting for a big fight himself? You do realize Bivol has lost maybe 2-3 rounds in his entire career, right? He’s by far the most difficult fight Canelo could’ve chosen right now.

If Bivol is genuinely trying to win this fight - and isn’t in on some gentlemen’s agreement to just go 12 rounds, pretend like he’s really trying to win and pick up his payday - I don’t see how he loses to Canelo. God knows the best thing for boxing is for Canelo to lose, which would put an end to all the cherry picking and fighters not fighting while waiting on Canelo. It would also spare us the Canelo-GGG 3 farce.

Bivol will out box and dance Canelo.I am a Canelo fan but I just don't see him beating Bivol.Bivol is very smart and won't take the body shots, which Canelo has to deliver to stop the bigger man.

You honestly believe Spence or Crawford would hang with a 160lb Canelo?? As skilled welterweights that they are,Canelo would walk right through them with ease imo,too big too strong. Mell or Castano would be more competitive than the former. I actually think Mell would be more competitive than Mall vs Canelo fwiw.

Call me crazy but I think Canelo is going to put on a career best performance against a very skilled opponent in Bivol. Canelo is on another level & I feel Bivol's age & inactivity will catch up to him that next. And we all know he ain't going to get a decision.....
