Can someone explain how Makabu is a bum v Canelo but Whyte is the boogieman v Fury?

Whyte is by any measurement far more of a "bum" than Makabu,hes old,faded from countless wars/kos,etc. gases out easily,& was sparked tf out cold by a jobber like ancient Povetkin who probably sold himself out for the rematch because hes clearly been a jobber for some time,who just sells his wares to the highest bidder as a gatekeeper journeyman/jobber by definition.
But just because Whyte beat shellPov the rematch,hes the boogieman to Fury somehow,yet Makabu fighting Mchunu in a close fight(have to rewatch it but from 1st glance Makabu won a close deserved win)
(Mchunu who hed already sparked out easily), somehow means hes a bum who has no chance v a much smaller guy,& a cherrypick;
but Whytes going to now become undisputed by beating Fury & then AJ who apparently is going to beat Usyk.(thats what i was told on here)
