Kessler vs Perdomo: Mikkel's Training Nearly Done

Mikkel Kessler has successfully completed his sparring sessions at Berlinīs famous Max-Schmeling-Gym. The Viking Warrior will now travel to Denmark for the fine-tuning ahead of his WBA Super-Middleweight Title defence against Gusmyr Perdomo at MCH Herning on September 12. [details]

Good fight for Kessler to shed the rust. Better is that it's a mandatory so it'll be some time before the WBA forces another clubfighter down his throat.

            Kessler by Death. Literally.

One of the last times the WBA gave some random challenger a shot at Kessler there was a brutal and sustained beating.

Never seen Perdomo. I dunno what he's bringin to Kessler, but I figure he ain't much of a threat. This should be just a showcase fight for Kessler to look good and establish some momentum goin into the tourney.

I'm looking forward to this, want to see where Kessler is compared to the one that fought Calzaghe.

Can't believe he's been so inactive, hurt his career a lot.

Perdomo is signed with Universum. This somehow shows why he finds himself in the position to be a mandatory.

He's here. That's the only 2 min. I've seen of him. All I can say is that he's a southpaw and is able to throw decent counters on a guy with no defense:
