Tonight I was embarassed to be a boxing fan, thanks in large to Samuel Peter. Can anyone tell me what the fuck that was? Im being serious, that **** made no sense whatsover. A champion was outclassed by a guy who hand't fought in 4 years. Not only that he went out like a *****. Instead of quitting in his stool looking like an african-asian man with both his eyes closed, he coul've gone out and swung for the fences. Probably wouldn't of worked but better than the **** he pulled tonight. And what the fuck do you call that defense? This thing is worse than being an MMA fan.

Vitali Klitschko is a very tough man to fight...he is tall, strong, hard to hit and has an iron chin...he is also very smart, intimidating and mentally and physically destroys his opponents.
35 KO's in 36 wins....best heavyweight KO% of all time
Vitali is a great fighter and one of the best heavyweights of all timeLast edited by WLAD OWNS; 10-12-2008, 02:22 AM.

Samuel Peter was still an embarrasment tonight both to himself and the boxing public.
I agree with the thread starter, that was just terrible, no bigger coward move than to stay on your stool, especially in a fight that you arn't getting terribly hurt.
Somethin tells me Sam Peter had a nice nice payday... perhaps from a few different signers.

Peter wouldn't gain anything by hanging in there with Vitali. A certain beating was all he had to look for. So instead of being ruined like Jeff Lacy was against Joe Calzaghe he retired. I can live with that.

a REAL champion should never take a Free Pass and look to fight again another day, thats just WRONG!

Had he continued he might still get the fights but the beating he would have taken from Vitali might have made him gun-shy.
