How is he far behind them?

I'm not talking about the size of their stables, but actual promotion. They do a lot of innovative things that no one else does, companies like GBP and TR are doing the same thing promoters were doing 20 years ago + they hardly ever make great fights.

Also, Hearn is putting on better cards than anyone else in Boxing in my opinion. Everyone else will have the main event, and then maybe one extra good fight if it's a huge show.

      This is obviously not true.

Look at Mitchell vs Maduma, Quigg vs Salinas, Mcdonnell vs Na Rachawat, Burns vs Crawford/Beltran, Frampton vs Martinez, Brook vs Jones I, Froch vs Bute/Kessler/Groves...

Not to mention the way he's putting the likes of Callum Smith in with Biosse, Joshua is in with good fighters after 9 fights only, Campbell is going in with Coyle shortly etc.

As with any other promoter, there are a number of shlt fights more often than not, but I think Hearn has a better ratio than any other promoter.

Just look at Danny Garcia's last fight

Could you see a world champion flagship fighter from Mathroom fight someone like that?

Ultimately there is more money to be made from competitive fights than uncompetitive.
Didn't Hearn get Rees Broner? Ok Rees lost but from a fighters perspective they have to be grateful for those opportunities!?
In a strange paradox fighters losing world championship fights probably helps him long term.

Yeah fair point, some of those were competitive, but I can't see how you can use joshua as an example, he's supposed to beat those guys as he's just a rookie, brook was supposed to beat jones, it just wasn't as easy as it was supposed to be, jones was a journeyman.

I'm not bigging up american promoters, i'm just not putting Eddie Hearn on a pedestal.

I wouldn't call Jones a journeyman at that stage, he was IBF no 3. But of course, I'm not going to deny that Brook was supposed to beat him. With regards to Joshua, he's just fought a guy with 38 wins on his record against only 9 defeats. To compare, someone like Klitschko fought a guy with only 7 fights in his 8th pro career, and a guy with 21 wins against 11 losses in his 9th.

Joshua is being stepped up pretty fast.

When I said Hearn is the best, I mean the way he promotes his fights. I mean, how often do you see a guy like Quigg fight in front of 20k audiences in America? Adrien Broner at his peak fought in front of 3-5k audiences.

I mean, the guy is clearly doing something right when he can sell out pretty much any show he does - and when his american counterparts are struggling to sell out smaller arenas for supposed super stars like AB, then you know who's better at his job.

i'm not a fan of hearn but don't use joshua as an example of uncompetitive fights ... guy has had like 9 fights or something and is only been a pro for a year or so. Give him a chance
