Will Will See Vitali In The Ring Again?

    42, with a history of injuries & hasn't fought in a year.

I doubt we'll see him in the ring again.

I've heard that he'll fight one more time against Haye (assuming Haye comes through against Fury) and, if Haye looks spectacular against Fury, that bout would make him a load of money.

But I just have the feeling that we won't see him again. Training for a major bout in your 43rd year after a time out has to be very tough & I doubt if he'd want to finish by losing to Haye (who, if they did fight) I think would outspeed him.

Either way, good luck to him.

Maybe he's holding out for the Haye v Fury winner....but I somehow doubt it.

My best guess is that we'll see him again but it'll be a kind of sign-off, celebratory bout which is a borderline exhibition contest in a vast German football stadium rather than a legacy-making contest.

If Haye beats Fury, and enough 'noise' thus £££ is generated, i could see Vitali fighting one last time vs Haye, if Haye lost, careers done, if he won then a Wlad rematch i feel would definitely happen imo, if Haye went to Wlad with a W over his brother and his belt, more £££ and noise would occur than the 1st time round.

In a business sense, K2 and Haye be in the money.... Maybe Vitali is 'keeping' himself incase these events unfolded....jus my crazy mind working though haha.

They should declare the title vacant and have boxoff if doesn't commit to fight his mandatory soon.

I agree. While not too many people are interested in terms of what Haye does for Vitali as legacy match up, even though I'd like to see it, it will bring in some serious coin. Surely if he's heading into a career in politics he will need a bucket load of money for various campaigns and what have you - even more money than he has now I suspect.

If it's Haye, I'm interested, if not, then not interested.

Unless Fury beats Haye and it's Fury.

Why would anyone start a thread on a boxing forum about a boxer?

You're right. I must be crazy.

Luckily we have you to keep us boxing fans in line.

My point is that it's a redundant question based on Vitali just adressing this inquiry. This is why you had very little views and responses you see.

Oh and was what I said so upsetting that I deserved red K?

                  LOL, like I care.

You're the one who's responded the most. I sense a feeling of kinship between us. This thread completes you.
