    Tyson Fury News.

Heavyweight sensation Tyson Fury is predicting another explosive performance in Norwich this Saturday night when he features live on ITV4 on the undercard of Jon Thaxton’s first European Lightweight title defence. The unbeaten Fury will be going for his third straight win as a pro on the Hennessy Sports event when he takes on Daniel Peret in a scheduled 6 rounder. The Norwegian based Russian is a veteran of 35 fights but Fury isn’t impressed..

“I‘ve seen Peret fight and he’s a big Russian lump who’s in for a real hiding come Saturday night,?blasted the 20-year-old. “I hope he doesn’t think he’s coming over here for a nice weekend in Norwich because I can guarantee you he’ll be leaving with painful memories of the place.

Fury is an absoulute man mountain, he was on setenta earlier today saying how everyone is running scared from him. I'm not suprised, a 6'9 ***** boxer, who wouldn't be running?

tyson seems to be doing well his last fight was ok but he didn't show us anything we didn't already know. i think he still needs to lose alot of weight he seems to have a strange pear shaped physique but he is showing signs of losing the bulge around his hips and waist.

imo he shouldn't worry about haye just yet, in fact hes a long long way away from being haye sparring partner.

His most recent fight was his worst performance so far IMO.

              The positives:
He tried to box rather than just attempting to steamroller the other guy
His weight continues to come down

              The negatives:

Poor jab. A good jab has many uses, but primarily Fury should be looking to use his to keep his opponent at the distance that he wants him at. When you are 6'8 and your opponent is 6'1, you shouldn't throw that away by fighting at the range that suits him. Fury's jab was weak and not once did he use it to stop the tomato can guy from coming forward. Granted, the other didn't throw much, but when he did Fury seemed wide open.

Switching to southpaw 2/3 times. WTF was that about? To me it looked as if he simply got out of position and tried to style it out. Something to avoid.

His opponent. Not really Fury's fault, but hopefully they stick to the likes of that German-Scottish guy (ie. game but limited and a bit fat) rather than the one that showed up last night (no effort, looking to get out of there ASAP, very fat).

Movement. I suppose this is more to do with not having much of a jab, but he got backed into the ropes when he should've been able to stand his ground and land straight punches or an uppercut as the fattie came forward.

Keeping his hands too low. Even guys with great technique can't afford to do this. Considering that Fury doesn't have great technique or head movement, this isn't a good idea. It's better to be in the habit of keeping your hands up than to think 'I'll wait until I'm in against better opposition to do it'.

Even guys as skillful as Gamboa fall back on old habits, leading to KDs against them. Fury's trainer should get him out of this ASAP, even if he's only against guys with losing records.

He needs to get in some serious conditioning work in the gym.If he does that,he is could go a long way,but I noticed that he got caught square on a couple of times last night, and if he fights someone that can **** a bit he could be in trouble. He is only 20 years old,so 6 months of hellish conditioning work would be a good investment at this stage in his career. He needs to get rid of that pear shaped bulge around his midriff, and get som muscle definition in the top half of his body, get some muscle on those thin arms.If he does that then he will be a truly fearsome fighter, because he has pretty fast hands for a guy of his size and seems to pack an ok dig as well at the moment, but if he could add some real power into his shots then he will be knocking people over and out.

This was the first time i've seen this guy fight, after hearing a lot about him.
His opponent imo was an absolute disgrace! One of the most out of shape boxers i've ever seen!
Fury himself, I agree, needs to work on his conditioning..he looked a bit flabby too.
p.s Why on earth are peole mentioning this guy in the same sentunce as David Haye? Haye would KO Fury within 3 rounds for sure!
