Would Holyfield be considered a small HW today?

He looked like he was chiseled out of granite but he was 6'2" and between 209-215 lbs in his prime years at HW.

Would he be seen as undersized today?

No. Deontay Wilder came in at 209 against Fury. Usyk is no bigger than Holyfield was.

Very few heavyweights are actually solid at the weight these days, let see? Deontay Wilder & Anthony Joshua, that is about it.

Evander Holyfield is I would say? A classical heavyweight. Just like in body building they have a classic division, Holyfield has that type of physique.

Na. He’d seen a bit small, but he’d do some good work on a lot of heavyweights today. He was a excellent boxer with a athletes commitment. And that’s what a lot of heavyweights don’t have, commitment. But he could beat many in today’s top ten.

          - -188 Lbs ain't passing VADA screening today.

Be forced into LH where he could be outboxed.

Well, He is about the same size as Usyk, even shorter, and they call Usyk a small HW. Both came up from CW.

Deontay is pretty light for a HW but he is 6'7" with an 83" reach.

              Holyfield had a 77 1/2" reach.

The other big guys, AJ has an 82" reach and Fury has a ridiculous 85" reach.

Very original idea for a thread. Off the top of my head... Wilder is about the same size as Holly. They are built different, but similar in size all things considered.

True but Holyfield did beat Rid**** Bowe who is 6-5 and weighed 244 at the time. So obviously he isn't too small.
