For sure. But I rate Whitaker better than Pep. Pep controlled range really well, but Pernell could stand directly in front of you and you'd miss him with a handful of buckshot. I love his ability to make guys miss in the pocket. His workrate was higher, too, and to maintain that defensive responsibility while still throwing a lot of punches is ridiculous.
