the 1984 fight where Chandler loses his title. I watched this last night. Sandoval came out firing and beating Chandler at every facet of the game. He had Chandler in trouble early in the fight for sure. But this fight frustrated me because it seems like after the 6th or 7th round Sandoval starts using heavyweight tactics like tying up or throwing one or two shots on his way in to tie up Chandler. And it just continues for the rest of the fight, the ref does'nt dot anything about it and even warns Chandler for holding a couple times. And finally in the last round Chandler is so tired and pissed off he just wilted and Sandoval opened up and got him out of there.
I'm not saying that Chandler would have won the fight but it seems to me that chandler was trying to get Sandoval to fight by opening up his arms and inviting him to fight but Sandoval just kept up the tactics. Painful fight to watch in my opinion, I really don't like that style of punch and then tie up.
