I actually read an article that Curry offered him a $1 mill for a rematch. He didn't accept

If I remember correctly Duva was there, but Paz had since switched to Kevin Rooney. This was on the same card as the Holyfield and Alex Stewart rematch, which I left after 7 rounds of sheer boredom. Nothing like their first fight in 1989 which turned out to be an entertaining fight with Stewart gushing blood everywhere before the fight was stopped.

He was a talented fighter in his prime, pretty quick hands, good skills and a good body puncher, had a short reach that he made up for. His prime didn't last long but he managed to do a few things during that period that not many British fighters have been able to do.

Pazienza > Honeyghan . One of the reasons for it is he was a much cleaner fighter , another reason for it is that he stopped Honeyghan while being the smaller man at that.
Why would he ? at 154 or in his better days at 147 (when he could make the weight easier) , or with a fair refereeing he would have lost the fight by either disqualification , stoppage or a technical decision.
Damn, which fights of his have you watched? Obviously not the twenty in which he does headbutt, keep throwing after the bell, keep throwing even after the guys been knocked down or out!
Paz is many things but a clean fighter isn't one of them.

He wasn't your non stop headbutting, DQ type guy but he did do a lot of overtly dirty stuff. For some it added to his excitement factor and for others it made him a complete ass.
